For parents

A supportive space for young actors to become confident, independent artists.

Preparation matters—but so does protecting the curiosity, courage, and individuality that make a young performer worth watching.

Parents remain informed. Young actors get room to work.

Parents are an important part of every young actor’s journey. You are welcome to share goals, deadlines, concerns, and relevant context before a session, and to connect afterwards about what we explored.

During the coaching itself, I work directly with the actor. In my experience as an educator and director, young performers are often more willing to experiment, ask questions, make mistakes, and trust their own ideas when they are not trying to read a parent’s reaction in the room.

That independence is not about excluding families. It is about creating the conditions in which the young actor can be seen as an individual artist.

01

Before

A parent or guardian completes the booking, shares goals and materials, and lets me know about the audition or program.

02

During

The session is normally one-to-one, giving the actor space to explore freely and build confidence in their own choices.

03

After

Parents may reconnect with me for a brief overview, practical next steps, and suggestions for supportive practice at home.
