An actor’s greatest strength is their individuality. My job is not to hand you a performance, but to help you uncover your own.

Originally from England, I’ve spent more than twenty years working as an actor, director, English literature educator, and coach across the UK and Southern California. From Shakespeare and classical theatre to contemporary productions, commercial acting, and dialect coaching, every role I’ve taken on has strengthened my belief that the most compelling performances are built on curiosity, confidence, and truthful choices.

I created Scene Coaching because I believe every actor deserves to be seen as an individual artist. Throughout my career, I’ve watched too many actors search for the “right” way to play a role instead of discovering the performance only they could give.

My background in English literature taught me that there is rarely one correct interpretation of a text. What matters is the evidence behind your choices. I bring that same philosophy into every coaching session, helping actors explore language, relationships, objectives, and circumstances so every performance feels grounded, authentic, and uniquely their own.

As a director, I know what captures attention in the room. As an actor, I understand the vulnerability of putting yourself forward. As an educator, I create a supportive environment where actors of all ages can experiment, take creative risks, and grow in confidence.
